Hi, I’m Megan Murphy — Licensed Esthetician and founder of Refresh Esthetics LLC.

For over 11 years, I’ve dedicated my career to helping clients feel confident and empowered in their skin. My journey into esthetics began from personal experience — as a teenager and young adult, I struggled with acne and had very little guidance. I know firsthand how frustrating and discouraging skin challenges feel, and that experience shaped the way I care for my clients today.

I’m not just here for maintenance facials — I’m here for transformation.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked in dermatology offices, med spas, and independently as a business owner. That diverse experience allows me to blend corrective, results-driven treatments with a personalized, supportive approach. Every treatment plan is designed with intention — whether you’re addressing acne, pigmentation, aging, or simply wanting to elevate your skin health.

In a world full of social media trends, quick fixes, and constant noise, my goal is to be your trusted guide. Skincare shouldn’t feel overwhelming or confusing. It should feel strategic, supportive, and built around you. Creating a private, in-home spa environment allows me to give each client my full attention. I value honest communication, realistic treatment plans, and long-term results over quick trends. As a native of Kansas City, I’m proud to offer a welcoming space where clients can relax, feel heard, and know they’re receiving expert-level care tailored specifically to them.

When I’m not in the treatment room, I love hosting gatherings with friends and family, appreciating a good dad joke, and staying curious — I’m always ready to learn something new. At home, you’ll find me with my two cats and my dog, recharging so I can continue doing what I love most: helping my clients feel their absolute best in their skin.
